Walking the Story - a short course at Wesley House

An 8 week online course from Monday 14 May to Thursday 12 July 2018

Wesley House is pleased to announce a repeat of its popular online course, 'Walking the Story: resources for a personal pilgrimage'.  Based  on the book by Rev Dr Jane Leach about her experience of walking the ancient pilgrim way to Santiago de Compostela, this course will explore pilgrimage, its role in Christian spirituality and its relevance in Christian life today.  Participants will be resourced to make their own spiritual pilgrimage and to reflect upon some key questions for contemporary Christianity.

The course tutor, Rev Hannah Bucke, says, "This course offers you the opportunity to take time out in daily life and embark upon your own 'virtual pilgrimage'.  The materials will guide you on a journey out and a journey home, with resources for prayer and reflection at every stage.  You will also be able to share your reflections with others on the course via a discussion forum.  Previous participants have found that the experience has enabled them to connect deeply with themselves and others, as well as identify areas for personal growth and development."

The course will run for 8 weeks, at a price of £75.  Participants are asked to set aside approximately 4 hours study time each week.

Book for 'Walking the Story'.
